I've seen you yesteray night in HH in Hafenklang.
The last concert I've seen was the 'dejavoodoo-tour' in Berlin ... long, TOOOOO long ago ;o)
You still rock my world and you're still my favourite Band.
I missed the songs 'bye' and 'The crawl' :'o(
Are you still in contact with 'upset noise'? I met Fausto Franza in Italy when I was 16 (now I'm 42 ...) and we had a sweet lovestory. He wrote my nickname (HEXI) on his Guitar and visited me in Germany (near Cologne) with his friend Andrea by motobike.
Do you know the 'ROXY' in Flensburg?
Sometimes I work there and there are concerts too (Agnostic Front, Knorktor, Betontod, Canalterror, Six feet under, ... and lots more)
Maybe you could do a gig there ...

The news, that Jingo The Lunch are back, struck me like lightning. I never thought, that they could be back anytime, so I was quite excited what to expect.

First sign of life is CD titled â€œThe Independent Years 1987-1989â€. If IÂ´m not mistaken itÂ´s a CD-only release compiling songs from JingoÂ´s first three LPs, including the complete â€œCursed Earthâ€ EP (first time on CD!). Jingo De Lunch were one of the most popular bands in late 80s/early 90s Germany. Combining the energy of HC fuelling it up with a healthy dose of rock and the almost soulful vocals of Yvonne Ducksworth. It was quite fun to listen to these songs, after they had been lost in my record collection for years. Though not all of the songs work out in my ears nowadays, it was still a pleasure to listen to some of the old hymns. Furthermore I guess there are still lots of guys in their late 30s out there, who are still in love with Yvonneâ€¦haha.

just wanted to say hi

Last time we spoke via emails, we both hoped Jingo would start playing again and wish came true, although I haven't seen them live yet. I'll probably try to organize a show for them here in Serbia if they decide to visit this part of Europe.
Anyway, hope you and yours are fine.
